Forum: A Conversation
The Festival week starts with the Choreographer's Forum on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 6:30PM. More details on featured choreographers will follow. This event is generously co-sponsored by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. More info at lectures@mfah.org. The reception will follow in the lobby of the Museum.

Afternoon
Student Concert Program
Designed for middle and high school age students, the Afternoon
Student Concert Program combines a short “behind the scenes” tour,
educational talks and a final dress rehearsal performance in
the Cullen Theater, Wortham Center. This free program will be
offered on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 11:30 – 2:30
PM.

Artist
to Artist Workshops
A series of workshops
provide an opportunity
for the local Houston dance community to interface with some
of the world’s premier dancers, choreographers and company
directors participating in Dance Salad Festival. Workshops at
all levels, specifically tailored for the local companies requesting
a master class, are offered throughout the week of April
18-April 23, 2011. The Open Workshops are
offered to intermediate-advanced to advanced students at a nominal
charge.

Touring Taste of Dance Salad Festival Film and Lecture – ongoing,
year long program
This free film program features highlights of the
live Festival performances at the Cullen Theater, Wortham Center.
This film on DVD is available for schools, libraries, community
centers and groups in the Greater Houston Area. If you would
like to have this program shown in your local area, or to your
